Delightful and finger-licking-good dishes of the local seafood called "patagos", cooked in 3 different method, "Grand-mère", garlic or curry mixed with rich and heavy cream, served with fries as a side. Heavenly!

I am partial to things Bassin d'Arcachon but Chez Martin at L'Île-d'Yeu is without peer for moules-frites! From Biarritz to Nantes these are undoubtedly the very best. You may wish to visit L'Île-d'Yeu just for the pleasure of dinning Chez Martin. And you also have many other attractions - and cycling is the best way to visit. I just fell in love with this beautiful island in France.

Most likely the best food you will get here and the best crepes in France in my opinion. The prices are low and the food is good, you won't find a better place on this island to savour French cuisine. A must go place if you are visiting also be sure to come early or the place will be packed for while.
